Director of Revenue Cycle Management
We have been serving the Florida community for over 20 years and are one of the largest outpatient physical therapy health systems in Florida. We are looking for a qualified Director of Revenue Cycle Management here in warm and sunny Sarasota Florida who will provide insights to help our Company maximize financial performance and guide the alignment of our infrastructure to support continued growth and expansion.
The Revenue Cycle Management Director will oversee and enhance all facets of the revenue cycle process within the organization. This vital role focuses on ensuring efficient management of patient access, including eligibility verification, prior authorizations, billing, collections, and revenue integrity. The ideal candidate will utilize their expertise to boost financial performance, improve operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires fostering strong relationships with clinical teams, payer representatives, and affiliated offices that influence revenue cycle operations for both company-owned clinics and clients.
Compensation Package
- $100,000 to $150,000 Per Year (Based on Experience)

Job Responsibilities
- Full-Time Monday Through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
- The position offers flexibility, with options for hybrid, remote, or in-person work.
- Strategic Development: Create and implement RCM strategies aligned with organizational and client financial goals.
- Team Leadership: Mentor the RCM team to enhance performance and professional growth.
- Service Culture: Foster a culture focused on exceptional customer service and satisfaction
- Process Management: Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle, ensuring timely follow-up on claims, minimizing write-offs, and reducing days in accounts receivable.
- KPI Optimization: Develop and monitor key performance indicators to enhance efficiency.
- Denial Management: Implement strategies to reduce denials through improved workflows and training.
- Staff Development: Provide comprehensive training and ongoing education for team members.
- Client Onboarding: Establish effective onboarding and coaching programs for clients.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Over 10 years of experience in revenue cycle management, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within a healthcare environment. Familiarity with EMR and BI systems is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of healthcare reimbursement models, regulatory requirements, and best practices in revenue cycle management.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities; strong leadership and communication skills; and proficiency in revenue cycle management software and financial management systems.
