The position is responsible for prospecting and closing business for our property in Fort Worth, TX!. This position will report to the General Manager and the Regional Director of Sales. The Director of Sales & Marketing position will carry a group sales booking quota from group rooms, meeting room rental, and catering. Title of Position: Director of Sales & Marketing

Job Responsibilities: The Director of Sales & Marketing will prospect their group and meet clients individually and be responsible for total account development. He/she can maximize sales opportunities/revenue from existing accounts in Delphi, SalesPro, STS, or CI that have not been prospected by an existing in-house seller in the past six months. We supply some group and meeting membership directories such as MPI, Helms Briscoe, etc.… for prospecting. 

This position works collaboratively with the on-property team, Regional DOSM, and the revenue manager of the specific hotel. Upon sourcing a piece of business, the Director of Sales and Marketing will place the piece of business in the hotel’s sales system and price per the given guidelines of the hotel. The Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for prospecting, quoting, closing, contracting, and creating high-level BEO’s & group resumes before turning them over.

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 + 25% Quarterly Bonus & 10% Annual Bonus + Benefits

Qualifications:

·      We would prefer that The Director of Sales & Marketing has a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing or Communications

·      The Director of Sales & Marketing must have a minimum of 4-6 years experience in hotel sales

·      We would prefer that the Director of Sales & Marketing have a brand experience

·      The Director of Sales & Marketing must have familiarity with selling all market segments is preferred but will consider market-specific candidates

·      We would prefer that the Director of Sales & Marketing have experience with Delphi, SalesPro, STS and CI
