Director of Self-Storage and Leasing - Sunray Companies

We are seeking a Director of Self-Storage and Leasing to oversee the operations of our self-storage facilities and drive sales. This person will also be responsible for rent collections and leasing at multiple other properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and experience in self-storage management.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Establish sales quotas and goals for the division
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, increase occupancy rates, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to optimize pricing and leasing strategies.
  • Foster relationships with local partners and potential clients.
  • Implement and manage effective collection procedures including regular reporting.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial management of properties, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
  • Report on team and individual performance.
  • Coordinate with on-site staff to ensure consistent service delivery across all locations.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in self-storage management or a related field
• Management or Supervision experience
• Strong understanding of property management, leasing, and collections processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
• Proven ability to analyze data and develop strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and proficiency in Excel
