Director of Staff Development (DSD) - Golden State Health Centers

Golden State Health Center is searching to fill it's Director of Staff Development (DSD) position.

95 Bed Facility

As our DSD :

• You'll direct and coordinate in-service educational programs of the facility in accordance with the current Federal, State, and Local Regulations, as well as develop and direct orientation programs for skilled nursing personnel.
• You'll provide compassionate leadership, remain current on new developments and maintain a working relationship with the Director of Nursing and other related departments.
• You'll also develop, maintain and secure records, reports, instructional manuals and reference materials pertinent to in-service programs
• Coordinate and maintain working schedules; directly supervise all Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

• In conjunction with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Administrator, oversee the facility's NHPPD records as per State regulations.
• ***We're looking for applicants with one year of DSD - Director of Staff Development experience, but new DSD certified are welcome to apply as well.
