We are seeking a direct hire Director of Strategic Sourcing for a Leader in the Military Vehicle Engine product industry in Muskegon Michigan
This employer produces engines, transmissions, and turret drive systems for various military markets U.S. and Internationally
Relocation is available
Director of Strategic Sourcing and Subcontracts is responsible for developing a strategic sourcing roadmap and implementing a plan to deliver the best value to the organization.
Oversees and supports implementation of strategic initiatives, as well as activities related to global sourcing, supplier selection, product delivery specifications, and quality.
REQURIEMTS
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Additional Skills:
Experience with defense supply chains (Army and Navy) preferred.
Experience negotiating win-win, cost reduction strategies with complex supply chains preferred.
Experience with expansion and use of Source-to-Pay systems.
Lead training sessions with teams on FAR/DFAR regulations.
