**WORK SCHEDULE**
+ 100% FTE - 40 hours per week
+ Day Shift - UW MEDICINE ITS SERVICES CORE HOURS ARE 07:00 - 16:00 (PST), Monday-Friday **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** **UW Medicine IT Services (ITS)** is a shared services organization that supports all of UW Medicine. UW Medicine is comprised of Harborview Medical Center (HMC), UW Medical Center-Montlake Campus (UWMC-Montlake), UW Medical Center-Northwest Campus (UWMC-NW), Valley Medical Center (VMC), UW Medicine Primary Care (UWMPC), UW Physicians (UWP), UW School of Medicine (SOM), and Airlift Northwest (ALNW). ITS is responsible for the ongoing support and maintenance of the infrastructure and applications which support all these institutions, along with the implementation of new services and applications that are used to support and further the UW Medicine mission.

+ 100% matching, 100% immediately vesting 403(b) **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Providing vision, advocacy, and strategic direction for the effective and innovative use of technology in electronic health record (EHR) training program across multiple modalities
+ Leading a team of Training Managers and Training Specialists in the development and delivery of efficient and effective clinical, business, and system education programs, including curriculum development, training domain management, and the use of multiple training modalities
+ Collaborating with leadership across UW Medicine to carry out the vision and ongoing development of the electronic health records programs
+ Leading long-range planning efforts for the institution's learning technologies and support in a multimodal learning environment, monitoring new technologies and education tools to enhance and improve the program
+ Serving as the strategic liaison in the management and implementation of efficient clinical, business, and system education programs that align with the safe use of the EHRs and the highest standards of clinical care delivery
+ Overseeing the development, adoption, and deployment of web and media-based tools, emerging technology, digital platform management, user support, training, and media production in alignment with department goals and priorities
+ Leading evaluations/assessments and reporting metrics to leadership, including enrollment and tracking, training delivery, facility management, adoption metrics, training domain(s) management, and customer satisfaction
+ Overseeing team managers and supporting team recruitment, hiring, retention, coaching, and mentorship
+ Enforcing and enhancing EHR education processes, procedures, and documentation
+ Establishing and meeting service level agreements that will provide exceptional customer service
+ Identifying budgetary needs, adhering to fiscal policies and guidelines, and ensuring team members have the necessary resources to accomplish their functions
+ In collaboration with the Associate Chief Clinical Information Officer (Associate CCIO), executes the training vision and works closely with other Information Services leaders/team members, Quality, Performance Improvement, and other key stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of clinical, business, and system training technology in order to achieve organizational strategic objectives **REQUIREMENTS**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience
+ 10+ years of experience which should include:
+ 8+ of progressively responsible professional experience related to online education and/or instructional technology
+ 6+ years' experience leading and managing technology and/or business professionals
+ 6+ years of experience in program/project management and support of complex information systems education/learning technology programs
+ 5+ years of experience in a complex health care environment
+ 5+ years' experience managing customer and vendor relationships
+ Demonstrated management and leadership capabilities with proven ability to influence in matrix environment
+ Demonstrated ability to navigate highly complex regulatory environment
