About the Role
Reporting to the CHRO, as the Director of Training and Development, you are responsible for leading and managing the training and development programs of the entire company. You will develop, implement, oversee, and evaluate training and development programs for all employees across the organization, including new hires, existing staff, and leadership teams. You will work with various levels of management to identify training needs, design, and deliver effective training solutions, and measure the impact of training programs on employee performance. In addition working with the HR Team and leadership you will be directly involved in succession planning T&D for our next generation of Leaders at Turtle.
What You'll Do
- Collaborating with other leaders to identify training needs and align training programs with organizational goals.
- Developing training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online courses for all levels of Management and Leadership.
- Leading and managing the development and implementation of comprehensive training and development programs for all employees in the organization.
- Overseeing the delivery of training programs, including remote & classroom-based training, e-learning courses, and on-the-job training.
- Developing and managing the training budget.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Comes with a solid understanding of the Principals of Adult Learning and the benefits of Experiential Learning.
- Has at least 3 years’ experience in Sales and Sales Leadership training and development
- Solid understanding and experience in various aspects of Management and Leadership experience
- Ability to collaborate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, learning management systems, and other training technologies.
- Has mastered the ability to leverage on-line tools for virtual learning
- Confident, dependable, and personable team player.
- Must be able to work with all levels throughout the company.
- Experience evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, certifications, surveys, and other measurement tools.
- Identify and partner with external training providers, as necessary.
- Monitor and stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in training and development.
- Manage a team of training and development professionals.
- Detail oriented with focus on quality and accuracy. Attention to detail is a must.
- Works well under pressure in fast-paced environment with multiple, sometimes shifting priorities.
