We are seeking a UX Director to join our growing team. In this role you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of UX designers to create exceptional user experiences for our WEM platform. You will collaborate closely with customers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our products meet the evolving needs of our customers.
What you’ll be doing (Key Responsibilities):
- UX Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive UX strategy ensuring a user-centered approach in all design processes that aligns with the company's overall business goals.
- User Research: Conduct in-depth user research to identify customer needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and mentor a high-performing team of UX designers. Provide guidance, support, and career development opportunities.
- Design Process: Establish and maintain a robust design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Hands-On Design: Actively participate in the design process, creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to bring concepts to life.
- Design Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design decisions are aligned with business objectives.
- Design Quality: Maintain high standards of design quality and ensure that our products are intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing.
- Design Metrics: Track and analyze key design metrics to measure the effectiveness of our UX efforts.
Success Criteria:
- Proven track record of leading and inspiring design teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Strong understanding of user research methodologies, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
