Zelis is backed by Bain Capital and Parthenon Capital.The leader in this newly defined role will report to the Senior Vice President, Business Marketing and will work in close alignment with the enterprise and the Zelis Business Units (BUs) strategic partnership teams.The Director, partnership marketing is responsible for defining a marketing support model for both product driven and sales driven partnerships to accelerate demand creation and drive growth. This role will work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment, partnering with key stakeholders across marketing: Product marketing, Segment marketing, and Brand to create marketing assets and inform integrated marketing campaigns that tell the Zelis partnership stories in exciting ways
The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare, deep partnership experience and a track record of marketing partnerships that deliver results.The RoleThe ideal candidate will be a business-savvy marketer, with an understanding of profitability levers and revenue drivers, and the ability to translate that understanding into effective partnership marketing strategies
His/her marketing expertise will include partnering with product leadership on product commercialization and sales enablement, building insight-driven, competitively differentiated value propositions and messaging, and supporting the development of content aligned to all stages of the B2B buyer journey.Responsibilities Partner with both the enterprise and business unit partnership business development teams to define channel marketing goals, priorities and investments that fully align with business objectives. In conjunction with business and BU product leads, negotiate the marketing of partnerships that elevate the brand and expand our audience whether that is re-imagining how we maximize an existing partner or scaling into net new.Partner with the legal teams to define the contractual language for GTM strategiesDefine and formalize the Zelis channel marketing planning process, including governance and integration with enterprise planning, marketing and sales. Refine and optimize marketing plans on a quarterly basis. Define a three-to-five-year marketing strategy, aligned to the product, go-to-market and marketing long term plan, driving to revenue / bookings goals as well as the marketing function maturity plan
Define key partnership marketing KPIs.Establish partnership positioning, develop go to market strategy,& maintain excellent oversight of creative development and execution. Define a co-branded / co-marketing go-to-market model.Author strategic partner marketing briefs that leverage data, insights, & channel strategies to influence the creation of relevant buyer / user facing marketing programs and experiencesPartner with the product marketing team to develop sales enablement assets, including pitch decks and collateral to be utilized in sales meetings and at industry events. Partner across marketing to incorporate partnerships into Brand and demand activation, including The Zelis Client Forum as well as industry conferences and events.Partner with the segment marketing team to define how partnership value propositions are incorporated into segment targeted programs.Partner with the events marketing team to identify speaking opportunities at industry events, to secure key collaboration benefits at industry events and to define how partners are promoted within events communications. Advocate for co-branded event opportunities with channel partners.Establish the best practice for partnership marketing measurement; responsible for defining clear goals and partnership program KPIs, partner with analytics to deliver reporting. Your Background:10+ years of successful and progressive work experience in B2B marketing; most recently partnership or product marketingStrong collaboration, relationship-building and influence skills to build cross-functional partnerships in a matrixed environmentExperience in translating insights into effective partnership marketing strategies and tacticsStrong written and verbal communication skills to help articulate buyer, client and business needsCritical thinker capable of producing applied insights and problem-solvingSelf-starter and quick learner with the desire to learn new tools and techniques Agile, able to deliver high-quality results under tight timelinesExperience with product marketing methodologies and best practicesFamiliarity with healthcare industry and provider landscape a strong plusExperience with electronic payments solutions a plusExperience in B2B technology or professional services marketing a plusAbility to travel as needed, not exceeding 25%EDUCATION:Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s preferredLocation and Workplace Flexibility: We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St
