Job Summary/Company: Sparks Group has partnered with a leading Technology Association who is seeking a As a Director of the Policy office, you'll be instrumental in shaping technology policies that impact global, national, and regional communities. You'll work closely with policymakers and industry leaders to ensure that technical expertise is at the forefront of important policy discussions. Key Responsibilities
- Policy Development:
- Lead the creation and evolution of the policy agenda.
- Coordinate with regional policy committees and the Technology Policy Council to develop and represent positions on technology-related issues.
- Policy Engagement:
- Engage with policymakers (e.g., US and European governments) to inform them about policy positions.
- Bring technical expertise to discussions on important policy issues.
- Member Communication:
- Keep members informed about significant policy issues and stance on these matters.
- Office Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Policy Office.
- Coordinate policy work with Headquarters and senior volunteers.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of technology and its impact on society.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build relationships with policymakers and industry leaders.
- Experience in policy development or advocacy.
- A passion for advancing technology and its positive impact on the world.

This job is Fully Remote.
Pay Range: Salary $150,000.00 to $175,000.00
