100% Remote (EST/CST preferred)
currently seeking a Manager of Professional Services responsible for the project lifecycle of internal company projects and customer projects. The Project Lifecyle includes capturing and coalescing requirements, requests, issues, and needs into Project Plans and Work Orders and then managing them from approval through delivery and user acceptance. In parallel with the work activities, the role is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships to identify and realize additional opportunities for projects to further customer success and generate additional revenue. Throughout the projects the Manager will routinely keep internal and external stakeholders and executives apprised of project status including progress, issues, time, and costs through systems and reporting.
The successful candidate should possess strong skills in identifying and articulating needs and successes criteria, and formulating executive overviews to summarize project goals and expected outcomes. Strong interpersonal and communications skills are necessary, with attention to details such as task tracking, to effectively work with business and technical project team members, executives, and key stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously or PMO experience.
Requirements
- Requirements gathering and needs analysis and capturing into User Stories with Success Criteria.
- Generating and managing both Agile and Waterfall type projects.
- Generating Project Plans and Work Estimates in a timely, accurate fashion.
- Coordinating activities and information between key engagement stakeholders.
- Effectively identify and assign resources.
- Tracking and managing a variety of projects, work orders, and or strategic initiatives simultaneously, across multiple customers.
- Keeping project data and tracking up-to-date and routinely report project status, issues, and next steps at both the project and executive levels.
- Managing project related time allocations, progress, and costs to ensure the project is within expectations and raise awareness and deploy risk mitigation when necessary.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships within key customers identifying additional needs and opportunities.
- Keeping customers apprised of recent product and service updates as well as continuous reporting on their engagement.
- Validating deliverables with customers as aligned with defined expectations and success criteria.
- Assist with education and training of customers as it relates to project solutions and deliverables.
- Successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
Background:
5-8 years in a Professional Services management role
Experience with Agile and Waterfall Project Management
Proven track record in delivering project on-time and within budget
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or technical school
Qualified Candidates Must Be:
Customer service driven
Professional and articulate over the phone
Able to work independently or receive / execute directions
A team player who works well with coworkers
Willing to work in a fast past environment
Able to travel up to 25%
Willing to work overtime when required
