Responsibilities:• Manages development of growth strategies for local, regional, and contiguous state markets. Cultivates and maintains relationships with health systems and other relevant market stakeholders to optimize impact. Develops and maintains a budget to meet defined outcome objectives.
• Implements external strategic initiatives and manages the full lifecycle of applicable transactions, e.g. generating stakeholder and executive buy-in, negotiating terms, closing, and post-transaction relationship management.
• Oversees hospital and other relevant market partner alignment initiatives aimed at establishing a comprehensive network to support the healthcare needs of the pediatric population within and outside the region.
• Develops and implements service offerings aimed at meeting the needs of market partners in alignment with internal interdisciplinary groups and their strategic priorities.
• Works with external executive teams to optimize pediatric and neonatal care in the region by assessing opportunities to create binding, long term affiliations.
• Leads internal interdisciplinary committees aimed at growing strategic volume across service lines and the hospital.
• Leverages hospital and community data to track outcomes, measure impact, and make recommendations. Communicates outcome reports to key stakeholders and market partners.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business, industrial and systems engineering or other clinical discipline.
• Master’s Degree preferred; may be substituted for applicable years of experience.
Licensure Requirement: Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Skills:
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with medical/Administrative staff, physicians, and community health providers. Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and consult with all staff, physicians and administration professionally and effectively.
• Must have the ability to organize and plan work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Must have the ability to draw clear conclusions from complex data sets and use data to direct meaningful strategic action.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience using Power BI a plus.
Experience:
• 5 years of proven experience managing strategic partnerships and developing and implementing initiatives involving multiple organizations and/or stakeholder groups, required.
• Project Management, strategic planning, and market analysis experience, preferred.
