Overview
JOB SUMMARY
Directs all rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy at San Antonio. Responsible for all staffing and business support of the services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
Experience: The individual will have five years of progressive experience as a practicing physical therapist, three years experience in management, with a minimum of one year's experience in a leadership role in a physical therapy department and demonstrated competency in areas of leadership principles. Recent acute hospital experience in the area of major assignment. Supervisor experience in dealing with personnel problems and human relations.
Knowledge and Skills: The individual will have knowledge in the areas of medical/legal implications, finance, labor relations, economics, and legislation that affects the health-care industry, regulatory-agency guidelines, and the Physical Therarpy Practice Act. The employee will demonstrate age specific competencies for the specific work area in which the employee works and cares for patients. Excellent interpersonal skills.
License and Certifications: Current license to practice physical therapy in the state of California. American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certified.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
PAY RANGE
$63.27 - $94.91

Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
