ABOUT THIS ROLE
- Responsible for all operations and performance of retail store operations, to include strategic vision. financial results, personnel training and development and cross- functional communication and support.
- Lead and guide regional managers and store managers to ensure successful operations of Base Supply Centers.
- Clear and concise communication with Regional, District and Store Managers on direction, expectations and standards. Partner with all internal business partners to ensure positive collaboration.
- Travel 50% of the time or as required by business needs.

Durham, NC
Monday-Friday 7:30 AM – 4 PM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all retail store operations, including initial store design/ layout and legacy store resets.
- Review and analyze reports to determine items that need to be phased out due to low demand or are obsolete.
- Oversee the development of Base Supply Center Standard Operating Procedures and the accountability of their execution.
- Conduct reviews/audits to assure full compliance of all operations and determine necessary corrective actions.
- Direct Regional Managers in current and future training requirements at both retail and
- corporate This includes all facets of customer service, retail operations, safety, and new employee orientations.
- Lead the Retail division in execution of continuous improvements in retail goals and KPI's but not limited to, annual sales goals, stock turn, surplus, inventory reduction and inventory integrity goals.
- Subject matter expert on future acquisitions; assists with business unit transition.
- Partner with the Product Development Team to identify sales driven manufacturing opportunities.
- Partner with accounting to ensure that AP questions/issues arc responded to promptly and overdue AR accounts are actively worked to attain collections.
- Responsible for motivating retail teams lo provide great customer service, as well as, developing business strategies that will help each location achieve success.
- Lead and encourage direct reports to surpass goals while implementing the company's policies and regulations.
- Partner with Human Resources on recruiting, onboarding and retention at all levels in the retail division.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a moderate office environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent experience.
Extensive retail knowledge in a multi-unit environment. Advanced computer and customer service skills. Military experience preferable.
7-9 years of progressive retail experience; minimum of 5 years in a management position.
