POSITION SUMMARY
This Director, Sales position manage the entire process of sales per specific geo assigned. This position requires extensive background, experiences, and proven track of success in sales in multi products offerings, both import and export, air and ocean, logistics, customs brokerage, drayage, surface transportation, insurance among many others. This Director position is responsible for direct sale, building the team (recruitment, training, coaching), manage division’s revenue goal, liaison between sales division with Operation, KAM and Marketing.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Manage to achieve the company financial goal.
- Direct sale, thru prospecting, hunting, and closing via value proposition.
- Ambassador of the company core culture.
- Manage to recruit necessary Business Development team members, onboards them, educate them, coach them thoroughout the process.
- Manage team of Business Development, ensuring that each member is contributing division goal, thru monitoring the sales pipeline progress, joint sales calls, support closing, and provide support from the company standpoint to equip our sales people with necessary tools.
- Manage the onboarding of new client, monitor the progress of account handover, to ensure that every clients are fully and seamlessly transition to KAM.
- Manage internal issues among departments thru communications, brainstorming and collaboration with othe ,Monitor communication to and from our clients, and ensure that it is up to company’s expectations.
- Articulate the internal issues, study, and present solution to the team for further improvement of our overall company.
- Investigate market intelligence thru multiple channels, such as competitors, market trends, pricing, vendors, clients, etc, and keep close communication with Marketing department.
- Creative plan and initiative to bring our operation suitable to our existing and prospective clients
QUALIFICATIONS/CONDITIONS
EDUCATIONAL | Bachelor’s degree (Business, Logistics and Supply Chain, or associate field), or equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of educational requirement Completion of any industry related course is an asset |
