The Enterprise Services Business Risk Office provides risk management support to several lines of business including: Brand, Enterprise Supplier Management, Enterprise Products & Experience (EPX), Software, External Affairs, eData, Global Workplace Solutions, Emerging Payments, Ventures, and Tech. As the risk team for Software, we are on the cutting edge of risk management and provide support for new and emerging technologies as well as critical business strategies

The successful candidate will have knowledge of process management strategies, risk methodologies and ability to build relationships with business and risk partners. Our team is passionate about proactively identifying current and emerging risks by utilizing technology to gather insights, analyzing datasets, and synthesizing the evolving risk landscape.Responsibilities:Partner with Capital One Software and leverage a trusted advisor model to support business initiatives, issue management, process improvement, control testing and related risk assessment activitiesDevelop a deep understanding of business strategies, products, services, and risk profile Ensure independent escalation of risk management gaps, issues, and concerns, including emerging risks and regulatory focus areasConsult on Risks across the first line of defense business partners providing advice and guidance as neededDemonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment.Implement process improvements: process certification framework, process hierarchy change management, change control, and risk reporting Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program effortsCommunicate complex ideas concisely and convincingly, adjust communication to the audience and comfortable with presenting to executive leadership Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intentPartnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project deliveryCollaborative, values diverse perspectives and seeks insights from others

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $233,100 - $266,000 for Director, Cyber Risk & AnalysisIllinois (Hybrid On-Site): $217,300 - $248,000 for Director, Cyber Risk & AnalysisCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI)
