Pure Storage is seeking a highly motivated and experienced B2B Product Marketing leader to serve as Director, Solutions Marketing. In this high-visibility leadership role, you will guide a team of Solutions Marketing Managers in developing and executing marketing and campaign strategies for critical enterprise infrastructure solutions that address key customer pain points. Your responsibilities include collaborating closely with the Enterprise and Commercial Segment teams to identify and prioritize compelling solutions, defining clear and differentiated messaging, and working alongside Sales and Marketing leaders to effectively bring these solutions to market.
As a proven leader in enterprise product or solutions marketing, you possess a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and customer insights. You will drive marketing campaign strategies, lead solution launch activities, and accelerate demand for our rapidly growing data platform solutions. Additionally, you will develop engaging content and partner with teams to prepare field personnel to effectively promote these solutions, ultimately contributing significantly to the long-term growth of the business.
SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
• Leveraging customer insights, industry knowledge and competitive intelligence, you will work with our Commercial and Enterprise segment leaders to define the GTM strategy and prioritized solutions to take to market.
• Align with marketing leadership to prioritize investment of campaigns towards these solutions, and drive the team to deliver messaging and content that brings these campaigns to life.
• Oversee the development of compelling and powerful content for Sales, Customer Support, Comms, and others including; sales training, positioning, FAQs, battlecards, and more.
• Lead a team of high-performing solution marketer leaders and effectively prioritize activity and resources within a demanding, high-growth company.
• Amplify the power of our culture, connect the hearts and minds of your team members vision and potential for Pure, ensuring that people enjoy, grow, develop, thrive and feel recognized in this period of tremendous growth.
• Be an energetic advocate and spokesperson for Pure Storage internally and externally with influencers, press and analysts.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
• Product and Solution Marketing Powerhouse: Extensive B2B technology marketing experience, skilled in positioning products for both business decision makers and technical audiences, preferably in analytics or related SaaS businesses.
• Messaging, Storytelling, and Content Creation with Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure sales and IT audiences, with a bonus for additional experience in infrastructure or data storage.
• Influencing Skills: Exceptional executive presence and credibility with the ability to influence and build strong relationships with various internal partners, including product marketing, field marketing, and sales, while actively contributing to the overall go-to-market strategy.
• Team Leadership: Demonstrated inclusive leadership skills in building, mentoring, and nurturing a high-caliber team, effectively identifying talent gaps, and fostering a strong talent pipeline. Inspires respect and provides effective feedback, involving the team in setting benchmarks and strategizing for success.
• 10+ years of experience in product or solution marketing at a fast growing company, including a minimum of 6 years of team management experience. MBA preferred.
• Strong technical depth and ability to learn quickly, balanced with sharp business sense
