Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director of UX to lead our User Experience team at Insight Global. The Director of UX will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of all software and applications used across the business, as well as the development of the team. This role requires a UX leader with exceptional EQ, a curious mind, and a willingness to roll their sleeves up to drive valuable outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Lead and grow the UX team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and implement UX strategies that align with business goals and objectives and support our product-led transformation efforts.
- Oversee the design and development of user interfaces for all software and applications used across the business.
- Foster a culture of rapid experimentation, user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform UX strategy.
- Guide the creation and maintenance of detailed personas, journey maps, and service blueprints to guide the design process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to ensure a cohesive and user-centered approach.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX design and incorporate them into the team's work.
- Advocate for the importance of UX within the organization and educate stakeholders on the value of user-centered design
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in UX design, with a proven track record of leading successful UX projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of UX design work, including user research, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
- Excellent understanding of UX principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience with various design tools and software, such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of developing and mentoring a strong performing team.
- Experience in a B2B services company is a plus.
