Under the direction of the Executive Director, Culinary and Nutrition Care, Volunteer, Retail and PBX and Grounds Services, provides administrative oversight, leadership and direction for the volunteer service line within Kettering Health. Key functions include, but not limited to: budget development and financial planning; identifying and utilizing comprehensive recruitment strategies, identifying, cultivating and maintaining relationships and partnerships with local high schools, colleges and organizations to create a robust network and strong candidate pipeline for Kettering Health.
- Ability to collaborate with others and develop strategic relationships
- Ability to think strategically to develop and accomplish long range goals which support the overall success of Kettering Health Network
- Ability to communicate clearly and have difficult conversations when necessary
- Ability to lead change and strive for continuous improvement in process and business results
- Master’s Degree or equivalent years of experience required (10 years)
- Minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience within volunteer services or related field required.
- Membership in appropriate professional organizations is considered a necessary element of this position.
- Must have computer skills and be knowledgeable Microsoft Office
- Must be skilled in financial and budget management
