POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for performing clerical and organizational support to the Utilization Management Department. The responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following activities: performing clerical and organizational support, arranging post-discharge, home health services, skilled typewritten materials, communicating with patients, families and other members of the care team. Prepares reports, correspondence and other typewritten materials, assembles and distributes materials. This position requires the ability to work well with deadlines and orchestrate multiple projects and responsibilities successfully. Responsible for fostering positive relationships between the Case Management Department employees, patients, family members, external vendors, physicians and management. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
HIGH SCHOOL OR EQUIVALENT
EXPERIENCE:
3- 5 YEARS
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES: Knowledge of hospital case management and discharge planning preferred. Must have the ability to interact with all levels of hospital personnel. Must have excellent communication skills, oral and written. A minimum of 2 years secretarial experience preferred. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

$23.20 - $34.80 hourly **Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience
