Performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties in a hospital kitchen/cafeteria. Dishwashing duties include retrieving trays from dirty utility room, cleaning off meal carts, sending dirty dishes through dish machine, washing pots, placing clean dishes in designated work area. Janitorial duties include throwing trash, sweeping and mopping. Participate in delivery of food services tray to customers, while maintaining quality and sanitation standards as needed.

Less than high school. Less than one year experience in customer service or food service environment. Minimal legal age for consideration is 16.
Responsibilities:*Dishwashing duties include retrieving trays from dirty utility room, cleaning off meal carts, sending dirty dishes through dish machine, washing pots, placing clean dishes in designated work area.
*Janitorial duties include throwing trash, sweeping and mopping.
*Participate in delivery of food services tray to customers, while maintaining quality and sanitation standards as needed
*Participates in assembly and delivery of patient/customer meals in accordance with established criteria and procedures.
*Supports the organizations visions, values and strategies.
*Maintains and supports sanitation standards as required by department policy and regulatory agencies.
*Operates and maintains equipment commensurate with job assignment.
*Ensures quality guidelines are maintained as they pertain to the area assigned.
*Maintains department records, reports and files as required.
*Participates in educational meetings/in-services.
*Other duties as assigned.
