Job Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for kitchen cleanup, including cleaning and returning dishes to the proper place, clean and sanitize the dish area and assisting the Assistant Cook with cleaning/sanitizing work areas.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for washing and returning all used dishes, pots and pans, silverware, cups and glasses to proper places
- Wash and sanitize dish cleaning area and food preparation areas at the end of each shift
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors when custodians are unavailable
- Perform as a team member during lunch service to include serving meals and removing used dishes from tables
- Treat un'ina (clients) with respect and courtesy
- Adheres to the Kenaitze Indian Tribes policies, procedures and Tribal Court Codes to include, but no limited to, reporting cases of suspected vulnerable adult, elder or child abuse or neglect
- Maintain confidentiality
- Ensures compliance with Tribal, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, Tribal policies and TERO ordinance

Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 6 months experience working with commercial grade kitchen equipment preferred
Preferred
- Knowledge and experience working with cultural diversities
License/Certification
- Current Food Worker's Card or documentation of successful completion of the exam within 30 days of hire
