Status: Non-Exempt / hourly
Reports To: Kitchen Manager and Assistant Kitchen Manager
Position Overview: To wash all dishes and kitchen utensils, and to help maintain kitchen cleanliness in accordance with Landmark Restaurants' and health department standards.
Pay Range: $16.50 - $19.00 + tips

Responsibilities: Upholds company mission and philosophy.
Sets up and breaks down dish machine. Cleans and polishes machine thoroughly including removing any paper and hosing down interior. Checks machine to be sure it is operating correctly and reports any defects immediately. Washes and stores in proper places all dishes, trays, utensils, cups, and small equipment for the restaurant. Checks water temperature during dishwashing operation to ensure proper temperature.
Removes trash from dishroom and places in dumpster. Cleans and sanitizes garbage cans and keeps clean liners in cans at all times.
Cleans and keeps neat dishroom area including detergent storage area.
Acts as back-up prep cook, when needed.
Provides support to other kitchen staff, as directed and required.
Maintains personal appearance and cleanliness according to Company and health department hygiene standards.
Maintains highest standards of hygiene and sanitation. Follows Health Department standards for hygiene and safe food handling. Maintains current Food Handlers Permit.
Qualifications Required:
Dependable and reliable.
Flexible schedule, when necessary.
Personal cleanliness.
Able to communicate in English.
Physical Requirements:
Stamina; able to stand for long periods of time.
Able to climb ladders and stairs.
Able to lift up to 25 pounds or more on a regular basis.
Subject to wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise
