Dishwasher - The Ambassador Skilled Nursing & Therapy

A Dietary Dishwasher's primary responsibility is to sanitize dishes (according to health and safety standards), sort dishes, spray down trays, and either scrub by hand or place dishes into an industrial dishwasher. To add, Dietary Dishwashers are in charge of changing each load of dishes at the right time to efficiently wash multiple loads of dishes.

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Wash dishes and other kitchen devices/utensils according to health and safety standards.
• Store dishes in a safe manner to prevent damage/breakage.
• Other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience and Education

• One (1) or more years of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility environment preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to pass criminal background check.
• Ability to place cases, pans, utensils and plates on both low and high shelves.
• Ability to work in hot and damp environments.
