About the Role & Program
Reporting to the Sr Manager of Merchandising, this individual will work with creative and product design to ensure the highest quality, consumer-focused, trend-right product line that builds brand equity and meets financial targets. We deliver our diversity & inclusion goals through the right product and personal growth. This is a full-time, six-month commitment in the Orlando, FL area from January 2025 - June 2025
What You Will Do
+ Perform the daily implementation of the product strategy for the Category
+ Lead a project during the internship that leans into the pin-trading product strategy and/or pin-trading event
+ Consumerist: Consumer-obsessed, constantly balancing the art and the science of merchandising to find opportunities, elevate the brand, and delight our consumer
+ Assume responsibility for data integrity in systems and samples, as appropriate to the project
+ Provide support for key achievement meetings with the development of presentation decks, briefs, recaps, and assembling input from key partners
+ Attend cross-functional team meetings to assist with the input/output of communication
+ Partner with Product Design and Sourcing to deliver seasonal product lines for vertical and wholesale business models that meet business objectives including sustainability goals
Required Qualifications & Skills
+ Strategic problem solver with strong communication and organization skills to drive execution against a plan
+ Able to build positive relationships across functions & departments, connecting with a diverse audience
+ Flexible and adaptable while meeting critical timelines in a fast-paced environment
+ Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize workload and concurrently balance multiple projects
+ Passion for consumer and product trends!
+ High level of attention to detail; proactive, with strong follow-through skills
+ Positive demeanor, responsive to feedback, and able to adjust based on changing organizational priorities
+ Ability to take initiative, and show a desire to learn new skills and processes
Preferred Qualifications
+ School curriculum focused on product merchandising, building a product line for a category, or categories of business
+ Experience with Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop
Education
+ Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) before participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
+ Currently enrolled senior, graduated within the past 6 months, or graduate-level student pursuing a degree in business, marketing, communications, entrepreneurship, or a related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

+ Be at least 18 years of age
+ Possess unrestricted work authorization
+ Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
Additional Information
+ Must be in compliance with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
+ The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 - June 2025
+ Full availability is required to work full-time hours (approximately 40 per week) for the duration of the internship, including possible evenings and weekends if necessary
+ Being able to provide own housing and reliable transportation to/from work is required
