About Us: Kalaju Trans, LLC. is a leading provider of safe and reliable transportation services, dedicated to ensuring the well-being of students during their daily commutes. We are currently seeking a dedicated and punctual Paratransit Aide to join our team.

Position Overview: As a dispatcher, you will be the main point of contact for drivers and clients and coordinate to balance customer needs with driver safety and health. Dispatchers ensure that everything runs smoothly by providing logistics for drivers, coordinating pick-up and delivery times, and communicating important information. Dispatchers also track trip progress and maintain records of transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with customers, drivers, and other parties to ensure that passengers are picked up and delivered on time and according to customer requirements.
• Facilitate the deployment of assets like vehicles
• Communicate vital information like customer orders, service requests, and emergency alerts.
• Field messages from customers, such as those who want to confirm arrival times or have complaints.
• Track trips and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Review driver logs for errors or violations and monitor driver hours.
• Provide detailed accounts of activities to help employers identify patterns or inefficiencies.
• Able to work well under pressure and multitask effectively
• Able to solve problems and coordinate in difficult situations
• Planning pre-determined routes and accommodating route changes as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Punctuality and excellent time management skills are essential.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• A high level of patience, empathy, and understanding
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and laws
• Detail-oriented
• Proficient at multi-tasking

Schedule

• Monday- Saturday 6PM-12AM,
• Sunday 9AM-6PM
