Transportation Supervisor/Dispatcher
Join an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants, serving independent tire retailers, auto repair shops, and automotive dealerships.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM - 2:30 PM (or until tasks are complete). Overtime may be required as needed.
Pay: $26-$28/HR
Location: Denver CO

Day to Day:
- Provide leadership to your team through effective goal setting, performance reviews, delegation, and clear communication. Offer constructive feedback, suggestions for improvement, and recognition for accomplishments.
- Conduct interviews, and manage hiring and training as needed.
- Support safety initiatives to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, maintaining a safe work environment for all associates.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives.
- Hold regular meetings to keep personnel informed of policies and procedures while enforcing productivity standards.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and effective communication.
- Oversee that drivers complete all required daily paperwork, including:
- Driver hours log (as needed)
- Pre-trip inspection sheet
- Driver’s vehicle inspection report
- Daily vehicle mileage and fuel report
- Timely submission of all paperwork to the corporate office.
- Assign products for material handlers to pull.
- Route paperwork and products to the appropriate areas.
- Ensure drivers complete customer returns within three days of creation.
- Collect COD logs daily to verify cash and check collections.
- Communicate effectively with CSR teams, sales staff, customers, other locations, and drivers.
- Monitor state and federal DOT regulations.
- Ensure regular performance of preventive maintenance (PM).
- Coordinate necessary repairs to comply with federal regulations.
- Assist drivers with arrangements during breakdowns.
- Coordinate Smith Training for drivers.
- Operate power equipment, including forklifts.
- Serve as a backup driver as assigned or directed.
