Dispatcher - TEKsystems

TEKsystems is currently hiring for a distribution company in Swedesboro, NJ for a dispatcher. This position will be supporting the transportation department with scheduling and routing deliveries. All applicants with warehouse and/or customer service experience are encouraged to apply. This position is a contract-to-hire and includes a full time work schedule, company benefits and room for growth with-in the organization.

Description:

- Communicating all day to day updates pertinent to the shipping and receiving department.

- Scheduling inbound receiving appointments via phone and email.

- Processing inbound and outbound orders.

- Learning and keeping up with all dispatcher SOP and responsibilities.

- Communicating and interacting with all company and inbound drivers.

- Verbally communicate with truck drivers all necessary information.

- Proper tracking of arrival and departure times must be completed and accurate

- Handling bills of lading for completed loads.

Qualifications:

- Customer service experience

- Warehouse or distribution experience preferred

- Computer skills

- Ability to work nights and weekends

Additional Details:

- Schedule: Sunday-Thursday

- Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm

- OT available
