About the Job
The Dispatcher is primarily responsible for coordinating the activities of the Patient Service Technicians and dispatching all outgoing work orders.
• Coordinates and dispatches all outgoing work orders
• Ensures timely completion of assigned work orders
• Monitors all field personnel and establishes equal workloads
• Determines appropriate delivery mode of outgoing supplies and equipment
• Processes all incoming paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
• Performs quality assurance review of all paperwork to ensure proper ACHC, FDA, DOT and other regulatory compliance
• Assists patients in solving problems regarding equipment use
• Delivers durable medical equipment to home healthcare patients when required
Education/Experience:
• High school diploma or GED equivalency preferred
• One year related experience is preferred
• Must be detail-oriented with good organizational and communication skills
• A valid driver's license with a good driving record is preferred
• should have knowledge of Word Processing software
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
