About the Job
Akkodis is seeking a Display Maker for a Contract job with a client in Minneapolis MN. You will be responsible for operating woodworking machines, interpreting blueprints, and assembling custom retail displays using various materials such as wood, plastics, and metals. Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of experience in a production environment and a strong knowledge of woodworking tools and techniques.
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Display Maker job responsibilities include:
Set up and operate various woodworking machines and hand tools to fabricate high-end retail store displays.
Study blueprints or drawings to plan and execute cutting or shaping operations.
Integrate different materials, such as plastics, metals, and electronics, into custom displays.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate assembly based on specifications and blueprints.
Desired Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a technical/business degree is preferred.
3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in woodworking equipment and hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience in custom display making is a plus.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
