We are currently accepting resumes for a Dist Dispatcher Assc position in Fort Wayne, IN.
This position is Onsite.

The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
Stores Attendant role for Supply Chain Distribution
(this indicates heavy machinery/construction experience is not a requirement. Warehouse experience is a plus. Also, Supply Chain Distribution creates work assignments on a 6 month basis; every 6 months the role need is reviewed and adjusted as determined).
* Previous Warehouse and forklift experience is preferred
* Driver's License is Required, will be driving personal vehicle or a company truck from Benton Harbor to Three Rivers. Work will be shared between the two locations.*
**Anticipated long term assignment, however, assignment will be dependent on workload.
SCHEDULE:
Normal schedule - Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm, OT is as needed
*Contract workers could be asked to relocate temporarily or permanently within a specific territory. Keep this in mind when accepting an offer.
DRESS CODE & PPE: Steel Toe Boots are required. Jeans and T-Shirt (no inappropriate words or pictures) can be worn. All other PPE is provided. *If worker wears eye glasses, side shields are required, client does not provide side shields.
MVR will be required for this position.

Good Communication Skills required - *Ability to be a Spotter and have the communication skills necessary to perform safe work in a storeroom. Ability to show initiative and demonstrate leadership to others within the storeroom - inventory control, receiving materials.
Lifting/Standing
Responsible for assisting in the safe and reliable operation, dispatching, and restoration of facilities for the client Distribution System as assigned.
Essential Job Functions & Tasks:
1) Promote and enforce the Company's Safety and Health programs.
2) Be knowledgeable and adhere to written company and department policy and procedures.
3) Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company's Corporate Compliance Policy.
4) Effectively operate company communication equipment.
5) Track crew locations and ongoing work on the distribution system.
6) Dispatch service personnel to respond to outage and emergency situations.
7) Authorize the energizing and restoration of distribution facilities.
8) Maintain accurate outage records.
9) Maintain accurate records of abnormal and defective equipment for distribution facilities.
Basic Qualifications:
Education requirements are listed below:
Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology
Bachelor of Science in any field or equivalent education and/or experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
The required Pre Employment tests are listed below:
EEIDEB - SASS Basic Data Entry
EEISOPD - System Oper Power Dispatching
Physical demand level is Sedentary
Successful completion of the System Operator/Power Dispatching Selection System (SOPD) and Support and Administrative (SASS) Data Entry Module only tests are required for this position. A review of Employment Testing Information, Test-Taking Tips, and the SOPD and SASS Practice Tests may be helpful. Rotating shift work required. Must maintain a high availability for call-out response. Due to call-out responsibility, applicants must live within or be willing to relocate to within 30 minutes of the reporting location. Must be able to work under pressure during periods of critical system conditions and deal with diverse situations simultaneously. Critical decisions must be made affecting reliability and priority of service to customers. Failure to issue correct instructions could affect personnel safety, welfare of the general public, equipment damage, loss of revenue and adverse publicity.
