JOB DESCRIPTION
Performs tasks associated with the receipt, storage, and shipment of product while meeting productivity, quality, safety, behavioral and attendance expectations. Primary focus will be unloading containers and assembling products prior to storage.You Will
- Safely complete inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks with strong attention to detail. For example, unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, picking and packing products
- Ensure products are shipped correctly to exceed customers' expectations for quality and delivery speed
- Meet safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime requirements as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements
- Perform other tasks as directed by leadership
You Have
- Comfort working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment and elevated stations
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 pounds
- Ability to receive feedback and work well in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, retail, or customer service experience in fast-paced environments
- Great attention to detail, quality, and safety
- What does a typical day to day look like for this candidate? Begin shift with a startup meeting, receive assignments, stretch. Begin work. All TMs break and lunch at the same time, shift for all ends at 4 PM. No cell phones/ear buds. First day working is a shortened orientation/training.
- Is there a specific shift this person will be working? Regular Days/First shift
- If so, what are the working hours? Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM until 4:00 PM. Two breaks, 20 min paid, 30 min unpaid
- Is there potential for OT? Likely no
- What type of products will they be unloading/assembling? JD states unloading and assembly as part of the role Dollys mostly.
- Are there any technical skills needed for this role? Computer work, platforms or software? (JD mentions shipping, labeling and auditing packing products) Just able to count/follow directions closely
- Can we learn more about the team? How many people will be working in the warehouse (how large) and who will this person be reporting to? This is a cave in Independence Missouri https://spacecenterinc.com/portfolio/location_kansas-city/ this is the company we lease the space from. We have extra/bulk product in these locations versus our primary warehouse. We need help unloading trailers, palletizing the product. The temps would rotate and assist with assembling (basic assembly) dollys or other similar product that we receive via import.

- What does the interview process look like? Intro to the company and description of the work/environment/expectation. Then a relatively basic interview with a leader. Decision with 24-48 hours
