Job Description
The DC Auditor position is responsible for verifying process compliance within our inbound and outbound departments. This includes breaking down pallets and checking for pick accuracy, checking replenishment and stow pallets, verifying accurate receipt of product, and determining root cause analysis for each. You will also be responsible for communicating those findings to DC leadership and provide reports on a regular basis. This role must also get along well with others and be able to demonstrate effective communication of errors to the responsible parties.Responsibilities:
- Audits outbound store pallets for pick accuracy during the outbound shift
- Occasionally audits new vendor inbound receipts for compliance.
- Responsible for proactively and independently recognizing, assessing, and documenting inbound and outbound errors.
- Research, analyze document non-compliance issues from store concerns to validate the non-compliance issue.
- Must be able to assess non-compliance opportunities and disseminate standards to appropriate internal business stakeholders.
- Work with cross functional teams on the appropriate resolutions, determine root cause.
- Responsible for appropriate response and follow-up on all noncompliance opportunities, which could be supplier compliance issues, proper shipping methods, damages, carrier issues, receiving errors, and other process breakdowns.
- Develop cross functional relationships with receiving and inventory control to support continuous improvement and reduction of errors.
- Assists in creating and refining processes, tools and templates that can be utilized across the DC.
- Compare the quantity, quality, labeling, and address with customer’s order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.

- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
- Communication – effective listening, speaking, and writing digitally and verbally.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Reading and understanding computer printouts or digital versions of assignments.
- Basic computer knowledge is key
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
- Ability to work in mezzanines and/or material handling equipment up to 50 feet high.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures from -10 to 55 degrees continuously.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to work in wet conditions.
- Ability to use tools and equipment, including electric pallet jacks, box cutters, computers, handheld devices
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
- Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
Desired Work Experience: • 1-year related work experience preferred.
Education: • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
The wage range for this position is $21.50 - $38.70 Hourly, commensurate with experience. Whole Foods Market offers “Whole Benefits".
