Shift: Nights 6pm-6am
Rotating shifts working every other weekend.
Properly receives and warehouse incoming finished goods, bulk cheese, and warehouse. Assemble same products for out-bound disposition to your customers—(internal) —meeting their requirements. Utilization of computerized terminals to assist with handling of these products will be required. Must be able to cover Bulk for support when needed.
Work with Leaders and fellow partners to ensure Food Safety and Partner Safety. Understand and execute standard operating procedures relative to position. Perform all PCP checks required for position. Follow reaction plan for Food Safety, Food Quality and customer requirement outages and by contacting TA/TL. Be able to identify and understand customer requirements and assist in assuring proper operation and product. Record accurate data on production reports.
Moves product or material to the appropriate location within the cooler or warehouse.
Maintains proper rotation of products within the Bulk Cheese, Finished Goods, and Dry Storage warehouses. Assembles customer orders by stock number, lot/sub lot number of other identified methods.
Safely operates power equipment within a crowded cooler and/or warehouse work environment. Reports necessary maintenance requirements on facilities and equipment. Power equipment TPM that includes RFT units.
Participate on the teams as requested (SPS, PSCs, Kaizens).
- Ability to learn and operate computerized data entry systems (MFCS) & (WMS) from radio frequency terminals mounted on forklifts. Also will learn to use Video Display terminals.
- Must be viewed as a team player (by partners in current work areas).
- Ability to read and write legibly. Proficient in math skills that will allow you to accurately process customer orders.
- Must have prior forklift experience (6 months minimum) warehouse type PIV’s
- Ability to process paperwork associated with grading/sampling of Bulk Cheese products. Also, able to complete necessary
paper systems used in F/G and other Materials Handling work areas (Dry Storage, for example).
- Must be able to become power equipment operator certified and keep that certification on-going.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS ANALYSIS:

Stand – 0-2 hours picking boxes
Walk – 0-2 hours picking boxes
Continuous Activities: Twist (lifting boxes and turning to drive forklift backwards)
Frequent Activities: Balance (getting on and off forklift)
Occasional Activities: Bend/Stoop, Squat, Kneel (picking low boxes from low level)
Lifting Requirements:
Above shoulders – 6-85 (O) large boxes, push up on dock doors (F) small to medium boxes
Desk to Chair – 6-85 (O) large boxes, pallets, inverting, dock plate (F) small to medium boxes
Chair to floor – 6-85 (O) large boxes, pallets, inverting, dock plate (F) small to medium boxes
Push/Pull – 25-50 (O) plastic wrap pallets, pull down dock doors
Carry – 0-65 (O) pallets short distances
