About the Job
Summary of Job: Responsible for all Warehouse moves, input into Warehouse and inbound inventory control.
Hours: Sunday-Thursday (10:30pm-7:00am) plus overtime as scheduled
Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand
- Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area
- Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination or signals crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination
- Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled using bin locators or floor locations for inventory accuracy
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications
- Conveys materials and items from racks to storage or to other designated areas
- Assembles customer orders from stock, sorts, and places materials or items on pallets according to shipping order
- Marks materials with identifying labels
- Operates: Electric Pallet Jacks, Stand Up and Sit Down Forklift, Turret Trucks (Man-Up)
- Use computer/scanner
- Identifies and compares product by number code
- Loads materials/products on trucks
- Driving forklifts to move product, driving drexels for put away and takeaway
- Must be able to work overtime as business need dictates
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Forklift, Order Picker and Turret Truck Experience
- Must be comfortable working at heights over 20 feet
- Good Safety Record
- Must have the ability to work in a team environment and maintain regular attendance
- Must be able to work overtime as business need dictates
