The role:
The Distributor Sales Manager works with distributor management and their field sales teams to plan and implement Kao USA programs in the field. The primary purpose of the position is to increase Kao Salon Brand sales within distribution and the assigned sales channel. Also responsible for maintaining relationships with distributor personnel. The role will report to the Senior Sales Manager.

What you will do:
- Present Kao USA products, programs and materials to grow brand sales, loyalty and engagement within distributor field sales managers and their teams.
- Meet with Distributor Sales Consultants (DSCs) to promote the purchase, sell through and support of Kao USA products, promotions and programs by brand building days. Plan and coordinate an established sales meeting schedule with distributor management team to deliver bi-monthly sales programs.
- Attend Distributor planning meetings to gain agreement and develop an executional plan for Business Building Funds (BBF) activities and goals. Attains Distributor commitment on promotional sell in of new products and promotions for a given sales year.
- Participate in distributor events and shows for the purpose of extending Kao USA brand presence and providing competitive information on innovations, programs and sales activities.
- Develop annual sales budgets and Goals to measure Sales Channel results and provide feedback and ad hoc analysis to Global, Regional and Country departments.
- Prepare periodic reports based on distributor sales data to measure sales programs, (NPD) New Product Development & Return on Investment with distributor BBF and Kao Salon Alliance Programs.
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5 Plus years' experience in consumer goods with specific sales and/or marketing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to write and effectively communicate customer business plans to high profile customers within the salon industry.
- Excellent knowledge to create and format documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
