Distributor Sales Representative
Job Overview
Distributor Sales Representatives (DSR) are responsible for communicating the benefits of a company's products in order to drive sales. Sales reps serve as the point of contact between a business and its prospects or clients and have a range of responsibilities including identifying and educating prospective customers while supporting existing clients with information and assistance that relates to products and services. Qualifications include strong interpersonal, communication, tactical and strategic thinking skills.

Salary: $65,000-$80,000 per year with transition to full commission within 24-months of hire
Responsibilities:
- 60% - Personal visiting customers and prospects.
- 10% - Administrative work – order guides, price lists, etc.
- 20% - Following up with commitments made to customers and prospects.
- 10% - DSM one-on-ones, district, regional, and corporate sales meetings.
- Complete Nicholas and Company DSR training and certifications.
- Adding new customers and significantly penetrate existing accounts.
- Deliver results by attaining individual sales and gross profit budgets and other KPI’s.
- Attend and participate in all Nicholas and Company required sales and training meetings.
- Regularly visit prospective customers while understanding buying influences and solution images.
- Become familiar with and understand DSR compensation programs and commission chargeback policies.
- Prepare and conduct Quality Business Reviews (QBR) with customers as a customer retention strategy.
- Understand, explain, and implement Nicholas and Company’s credit policies and terms with customers.
- Collect, handle, and deposit customer payments according to policy and within established timelines.
- Complete initiatives, assignments, and projects as assigned by District Sales Manager and other team leaders.
Required:
- Previous experience using CRMS.
- Previous experience as a Sales Representative or a Sales Manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to be technologically savvy.
