Job DescriptionThe DM at Chuze Fitness is the bridge between the Home Office and the field. Dive into managing our amazing team by recruiting, training, and delivering on-the-spot coaching and performance reviews and leading our clubs to excel in customer service, cleanliness, and culture district-wide.
This position involves handling administrative duties and ensuring smooth communication across all departments within the district. Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to inspire and lead your team are essential to providing a superior experience for all guests.
The DM role is for a dynamic leader ready to innovate and elevate Chuze to new heights.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain knowledge found in LMS training, identify training needs within the district, and ensure the district is compliant with current policies
- Foster a culture of continuous growth by conducting on-the-spot feedback, drafting and delivering coaching documents and performance reviews, and analyzing LMS reports and proactively seeking opportunities for personal growth
- Assemble discussion points and activities for district, region, and company-wide meetings and outings
- Ensure each club meets all operations KPOs and standards in customer service, culture, and cleanliness through monthly evaluations and consistent and open communication
- Develop and maintain a strong teamwork-based environment by efficiently delegating tasks to the ADM and leading the club teams through the GMs
- Recruit, onboard, and train new managers, ensuring a full understanding of Chuze policies and influencing the district to go above and beyond
- Approve and proactively elevate recruiting efforts within the district, maintaining oversight of staff levels, hiring needs, and turnover
- Act as a bridge between club management and Home Office by partnering with GMs to address escalated personnel concerns, proactively providing solutions, and partnering with the RDO and HR for guidance in any actions taken as needed
- Effectively determine the proper course of action in member concerns escalated from clubs
- Partner with the RDO to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies and innovate district-wide
- Conduct regular club visits to establish strong working relationships with teams, evaluate the club experience, and identify barriers to operational excellence
- Manage inventory processes by overseeing timely completion and proactively mitigating shrink
- Establish productive cross-functional collaboration and facilitate consistent communication between club management and Home Office departments
- Approve schedules for the district and train club leadership to adhere to labor budgets and expectations, assisting the GMs in securing a balanced schedule
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of processes and protocols for handling safety emergencies or incidents within the district
- Establish and uphold Kids Club policies and procedures

Required
- High School graduate or equivalent education
- 3-5 years of experience managing a large or multi-unit team with the ability to recruit, lead, and motivate
- 5+ years of Customer Service experience
- Experience with budget management, strategic planning, and crisis management
- Access to reliable transportation with the ability to regularly travel between clubs within the market
- Ability to maintain appropriate confidentiality and build trust from others
- Organized, accountable, and able to set, prioritize, and reach goals in a fast-paced environment
- Effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver constructive feedback
- Essential Physical requirements:
- Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English
- Touring the club: walking and climbing stairs
- Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement
- Standing for long periods
- Repetitive phone work
- Typing and computer operations
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or currently continuing education (preferred)
- Sports or fitness background (preferred)
