Job Summary and Qualifications
The Denial Prevention Analytics Manager works in collaboration with the East Florida Division Denial Manager, primarily focusing on identifying trends and action plans to mitigate loss due to denials, governmental denials or other payer/regulatory opportunities. The Denial Prevention Analytics Manager fosters effective communications among the division, SSCs, hospitals, and all disciplines. This role requires analytic skills and data reporting capability to provide denial prevention strategies through use of multiple HCA databases. The Manager champions HCA’s strategy and company/division/facility initiatives to ensure short and long-term objectives are operationalized within East Florida Division hospitals. The Manager will identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate process standardization to promote improved outcomes, maximize resource utilization, and improve organizational efficiencies. The Manager will guide the Division for ongoing standardization of processes and linkage to the Shared Service Center Denial and authorization processes. This position must travel to and from locations within the East Florida Division geographic area approximately 25% of the time.
What qualifications you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field, required
- Current RN Licensure, preferred
- Five years Revenue Cycle/Business Office or denial reduction experience
- Five years leadership experience
