THE POSITION
Delta Marine is currently hiring a Dock Hand.
Our Dock Hands work with the boat lifts or cranes to lift very large boats/yachts out of the water, pressure washes the hulls, and moves, position, and brace the boats/yachts for repairs and maintenance. Also responsible for repositioning boats/yachts as they are moved to different areas of the boat yard.
This is a very physical job. Dock Hands are constantly on the move, standing, crouching, walking, climbing, lifting, and moving blocking for the boats. You will be working outside in all types of weather.
You will be home every night. We work from 7:00 am to 3:30 am and pride ourselves on maintaining a good work/life balance.

After successfully working for 6 to 12 months on this team we will transition you into one of the more technical boat repair/building positions on our refit team based on your aptitude. This includes Marine Carpentry, Mechanical Systems, Fiberglass repair, Metal Work, Tile and Masonry work, mechanic work etc…
