Job Title: Document Control Specialist

Department: Quality Control

Reports to: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Onsite, Hillsboro, OR

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Document Control Specialist to manage our company’s documents to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in document management within a semiconductor manufacturing environment, particularly involving welding fabrication processes, and proficiency in Microsoft. This role will primarily focus on administrative tasks related to document control.

Job Responsibilities:

• Organize Documents: Name, store, and organize documents in databases.
• Manage Documents: Track and monitor documents to ensure compliance.
• Distribute Documents: Ensure documents reach the right people on time.
• Scan and Retain Documents: Convert paper documents to electronic format and follow retention policies.
• Quality and Audits: Maintain document quality and perform audits.
• Create Templates: Develop document templates and procedures.
• Communicate Updates: Inform others about new document versions.
• Ensure Compliance: Verify document accuracy and prepare reports.
• Train Employees: Train staff on document control procedures.
• Support Learning: Upload documents and create quizzes for training.
• Additional Tasks: Participate in audits and support process improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 3+ years in document control, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing. Familiarity with welding processes and ISO standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong analytical and communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and experience with document management programs.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
