Local dog grooming spa seeking full and part-time Grooming Assistants in a full-service dog spa service in Oxford, MS.
This is a cage-free environment with a focus on the emotional well-being of the dogs we work with.
Assistant responsibilities range from:
This is a cage-free environment with a focus on the emotional well-being of the dogs we work with.
Assistant responsibilities range from:
- Bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, brushing teeth.
- Assist stylists
- Maintain cleanliness and order throughout the day
- Identifying potential health issues in pets, such as possible ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay, and accurately relay observational information to pet owners
- Maintaining safe best practices
Requirements:
- Must be self-motivated, possess leadership skills, adaptability. effective communication skills, and the ability to problem solve in a fast-paced, cooperative work environment
- 1-year prior professional animal care experience is required
- Valid Drivers License and clear driving history
- Security background check requirement
- References
