About the Job
- Administer donor-advised funds, including the establishment of accounts, processing contributions, and managing grant distributions
- Review and process funding requests, ensuring compliance with firm policies and IRS guidelines
- Track multi-year giving, manage reporting measures, and ensure proper documentation and evaluation of capital deployment
- Serve as a key point of contact for donors, community partners, and internal stakeholders across departments including finance, marketing, and branding
- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on funding status, donor activity, and community engagement initiatives
- Foster strong relationships with community partners, ensuring all communications are professional and align with the firm's reputation
- Ensure that all fund activities comply with IRS regulations and internal guidelines
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on capital deployment, including contributions and grant distributions
- Support the preparation of audit materials and ensure proper documentation of philanthropic activities
- Lead the ongoing updates to the online application tool for DAF requests and capital deployment processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance donor communication tools and optimize operational workflows
- Coordinate the development and launch of new giving programs, updating internal and external-facing communications as needed
Requirements:
- High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Communications, Philanthropy, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in financial services, philanthropy, donor-advised funds, or a related field
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders professionally
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required; experience with CRM systems and donor management software (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud) is a plus
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service
- Knowledge of IRS compliance and charitable giving regulations is highly preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
