High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or Nursing, is preferred.
Experience:
At least four years of experience working in a blood donation center or a related healthcare environment.
Apheresis or dialysis experience is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor staff effectively.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with donors, patrons, sponsors, and co-workers.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters.
Licenses/Certifications:
Valid Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Tasks may involve moderate physical demands, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
Requires manual dexterity and coordination in operating phlebotomy equipment.
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and perform other physical tasks as required for the role.

The role may involve exposure to varying environmental conditions, including inclement weather, atmospheric elements, and blood-borne pathogens.
The work environment is typically moderate in noise level but may include both indoor and outdoor settings.
