Donor Services Account Manager - LeMaitre

About the Job
Train allograft tissue recovery partners on the recovery of cardiovascular allograft tissue and be the main point of contact for all recovery partners assigned. This role will also serve as the liaison between the appropriate departments at the recovery partners assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with each allograft tissue recovery group.
- Plan and provide hands-on training to recovery technicians on how to properly recover saphenous veins, femoral veins and arteries, aortoiliac arteries, and other cardiovascular tissue from donors, and how to package the tissue for transport to the tissue bank.
- Build a program to track the performance of each recovery group and provide timely feedback to each group.
- Work with LeMaitre Vascular tissue processors to evaluate recovery errors and to provide specific feedback to recovery groups.
- Re-train each recovery group regularly and as-needed based on their performance.
- Work with Quality Assurance staff to facilitate the receipt of donor records from the recovery groups.
- Assist with tissue bank functions as needed and when time allows.
- Surgical Knowledge and Experience, specifically with cardiovascular anatomy and cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- 5 or greater years of experience with the recovery of cardiovascular tissue from an American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB) accredited tissue bank.
- Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) certification preferred, or it may be obtained during first 2 years of employment at LeMaitre Vascular.
- Interpersonal Skills to maintain strong relationships with recovery groups and to train recovery technicians.
- Organizational Skills to track recovery group performance and plan re-trainings as necessary.
- Computer Skills to maintain a database for recovery group performance trending. A strong skillset in Microsoft Office is required.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
