Schneider is seeking a DOT Compliance Specialist in Green Bay to ensure company drivers stay compliant with Department of Transportation (DOT), provincial, state and company policies. The DOT Compliance Specialist will be a subject matter expert on DOT regulations.

Schneider is seeking a DOT Compliance Specialist in Green Bay to ensure company drivers stay compliant with Department of Transportation (DOT), provincial, state and company policies. The DOT Compliance Specialist will be a subject matter expert on DOT regulations.
Responsibilities:
Primarily working in one or two of the following areas and as a backup to the others:
Citations:
- Process citations issued to Schneider to ensure prompt payment is made.
- Research citations when received and determine what is required to satisfy the citation.
Roadside Inspections:
- Review data from roadside inspections received by company drivers.
- Ensure roadside inspection violations are corrected, collect documentation from the repair(s) made and send the certified inspection back to the State.
Vehicle Accidents:
- Answer phone calls and from the motoring public regarding the performance of company drivers.
- Log and use established guidelines to determine follow up.
Commercial Driver License (CDL):
- Ensure all company drivers have a valid driver's license for the type of equipment they operate.
Employment Verification:
- Correct any issues or missing records found in our employment history records within our third-party vendor system.
- Use various systems to complete compliance processes.
Skills and qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- FMCSA regulations experience preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office platforms, including Word, Excel and Access.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability and desire to work on-site, in person, at a Schneider facility as part of a team.
