Drafter

Salary: $30-$35/hr DOE

Location: Spring Valley, NY 10977 On-site

Industry: DoD/Engineering

Shift: M-F 8AM-5PM

Requirements:

• High school diploma is required, advanced degree a plus.
• 5-8 years or relevant drafting experience.
• Must be proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit
• Must understand drafting standards and documentation practices.
• Need to be able to communicate with clients via email and phone.
• Need to know construction, engineering, surveying, and design techniques. It s highly preferred that candidates have experience working for utility companies or transmission and distribution infrastructure projects.

Duties:

• Need to be precise and create accurate plans that are free of errors.
• Need to be able to convert concepts into detailed drawings.
• Support the client s existing drafting group.
• Responsible for completing drafting tasks that the client drafting department will delegate.
• Communicate with client s representative, engineers, and co-workers.
