SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for driving a truck or automobile over an established route to deliver and sell products, render services, and complete deliveries in an efficient and safe manner. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, safety, and the ability to handle physical demands related to loading and unloading products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive a truck or automobile over an established route to deliver products or services.
• Record sales or deliveries on a daily sales or delivery log.
• Place stock on shelves or racks at customer locations.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring items are properly secured during transport.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Issue or obtain customer signatures on receipts for pickup or delivery.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the truck, ensuring it remains in good working order.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
• Verify load security before driving and ensure safe transport practices.
• Execute all assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pick-ups.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator's license may be required.
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards is a plus but not required.
