- Pay: $18.00 per hour + Benefits
- Schedule: Full-Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM
SUMMARY
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for driving a truck or automobile over an established route to deliver and sell products, render services, and complete deliveries in an efficient and safe manner. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, safety, and the ability to handle physical demands related to loading and unloading products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive a truck or automobile over an established route to deliver products or services.
- Record sales or deliveries on a daily sales or delivery log.
- Place stock on shelves or racks at customer locations.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring items are properly secured during transport.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Issue or obtain customer signatures on receipts for pickup or delivery.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the truck, ensuring it remains in good working order.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Verify load security before driving and ensure safe transport practices.
- Execute all assignments in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pick-ups.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- A clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator's license may be required.
- Forklift certification per OSHA standards is a plus but not required.
