Driver / General Laborer - ERL Inc.

The Driver will be responsible for delivering materials/products to our customers, which includes assistance with loading & unloading, ensuring delivery of ticket is with material and signed by customer. This individual must be able to pull a minimum of 20 ft. trailer for extended periods of time. Must be able to maintain a valid Texas Driver License and have a clean driving record. This person will be on call and must be willing to travel on very short notice.

When not driving, you will be asked to do other tasks at the facility. You need to be able to lift 50 lbs when necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load, unload and move equipment/products as required
• Administrative work including completing and submitting all required company paperwork, daily route invoices, daily driving log.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and responsive attitude when working with retailers and handling customer complaints
• Keep vehicle clean and neat internally and externally
• Report any maintenance problems and accidents to supervisor immediately.
• Communicate with Sales Representatives daily to ensure needs are being met at retailers
• Maintain housekeeping in the work area. Ensure shop and yard are cleaned up, tools and equipment are put away, trash cans are emptied, etc.
• Be a good team member to your co-workers and management
• Adheres to all policies and procedures
• Practices safe work habits to ensure an injury free environment
• Must be available for after hours and on-call shifts
• Any job duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager

Job Qualifications:
•Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
•Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn
•General computer skills
•Good communication and customer service skills
•Professional driving experience is preferred for this position.
•Industrial pallet jack experience
•No DUI’s/DWI’s or Reckless Driving in the past 7 years
•No License suspensions, revocation, or cancellation of driving privilege as a result of a moving violation within the past 7 years
•Must have TWIC Card or attain one shortly after hire
•Hands-on skills assessment may be required based on qualifications

•Adjusting or moving objects up to 75 pound in all directions
