Driver Helper at Express Employment Professionals

Job Opportunity: Driver Helper

Location: McClellan, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, start time varies as early as 4 AM

Pay: $18-$19/Hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist delivery driver in delivering a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
• Help load and unload products onto and off the delivery vehicle.
• Follow route and time schedule provided by the driver.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
• Assist in preparing, inspecting, and operating the delivery vehicle.
• Ask for feedback on provided services and communicate any issues encountered during deliveries.
• Complete necessary logs and reports as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a driver helper or in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and navigate through traffic.
• Willingness and ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly during the workday.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
• Flexibility regarding work hours, as start times may vary.
• Valid driver''s license required, will train to become a driver
